Every ride is a vote for a cleaner Africa
ZYRA measures what matters — carbon avoided, incomes raised, and communities transformed. Here's the real-world impact of electrifying Rwanda's boda boda fleet.

Cutting carbon at the source
Boda boda motorcycles are the backbone of urban transport in East Africa — and one of the largest sources of urban air pollution. By replacing petrol engines with solar-charged electric motors, ZYRA removes carbon from the most-travelled miles in the city.
Zero tailpipe emissions
Every ZYRA motorcycle produces zero direct emissions. No exhaust, no particulates, no contribution to Kigali's urban air quality crisis.
Solar-only energy source
Our swap stations are powered entirely by rooftop solar panels — meaning the full energy chain from sun to wheel is fossil-fuel-free.
LFP battery lifecycle
We use lithium iron phosphate chemistry — the safest, longest-lasting battery technology — with a full end-of-life recycling programme.
Better livelihoods for riders and families
Petrol costs eat up to 60% of a boda boda rider's daily earnings. ZYRA's swap model slashes that cost, putting more money in riders' pockets every single day — and building a pathway to motorcycle ownership.

Measurable, verifiable carbon avoidance with third-party auditable impact data.
We publish our numbers
Impact without accountability is just marketing. ZYRA tracks every kilometre, every swap, and every gram of CO₂ avoided — and we make that data available to investors, partners, and the public.
